Keep the physical key to an existing lock inside the QIUI Metal Key Pod, then manage access through its compatible app. This metal key box works with the key you already use rather than replacing the original lock. Bluetooth connects the pod to the supported app, where compatible functions include unlock permissions, timer settings and partner access.
For consensual partner keyholding, two-person binding lets a trusted partner participate remotely once the appropriate permissions are configured. The offline countdown is a separate feature: set the duration in advance, and the pod is designed to unlock locally when the timer reaches zero without a live unlock command at that moment. These functions do not mean the box has an independent internet connection.
After a successful unlock, the lid pops open; press it closed again to secure the compartment. Check the internal measurements against your actual key before ordering, since the stated capacity depends on key shape and thickness. USB-C charging and the compact metal format complete a key-storage accessory that leaves your existing lock in place.
